ActiveCollab 8.0: Virtual Users and User History

ActiveCollab 8.0: Virtual Users and User History

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the latest ActiveCollab updates! In September, we showed you the improvements made to the assignments dashboard, estimates, user profile, teams, and trash. This time, we’ll show you User History and a brand new feature Virtual Users.

ActiveCollab 8: User History

User History allows Owners to check the changes made to a user profile. To access it, head to the People section, click on the three dots next to the user’s name and find History of Changes.

A pop-up window will let you know all the details about changes made to the user profile, such as changing their name, team, or company.

ActiveCollab 8.0: Virtual Users

Help new members join the team seamlessly and prepare everything in advance so they can hit the ground running. Virtual Users is a brand-new feature that helps Owners prepare ActiveCollab for the arrival of a new team member before they officially join your team. You can invite a Virtual User to projects, assign tasks, set their weekly capacity, choose available job types, and set up internal hourly rates. Virtual Users won’t take up a new seat in your account until you invite them with an email and they accept the invitation.

Uptime

In October, ActiveCollab’s uptime was 99,99%. If you notice that the app is down or slower than usual, feel free to contact our Support Team via email and X.

Coming Up

In November, we’ll continue to improve the Calendar and Tasks Filtering in ActiveCollab 8.0, so stay tuned!
