Welcome to the latest recap of ActiveCollab’s updates! In August, we showed the improvements we’ve made to the My Work page and Estimates. Let’s review the enhancements made in September!
ActiveCollab 8: Assignments Dashboard
Whether you want to get info at a glance or drill down to the details, the Assignments Dashboard gives you the scoop! Here, you can see the progress of your projects based on task completion, budget utilization, estimates, and tracked time.
The assignments dashboard can show the data from all active projects or filter it by category, client, label, or project lead. The assignments dashboard is just the first one of several planned dashboards.
ActiveCollab 8: Estimates
As we’ve announced, revamping the Estimates feature continues.
New sorting and filtering options will allow users to quickly find the estimate they are looking for. You can also easily see and open all the projects and invoices created from an estimate. To automate your work and take it a step further, the ID for your next estimate will be suggested based on the previous estimates.
ActiveCollab 8: User Profile
We’ve kept the familiar appearance of the user profile, but introduced some changes to make it even better.
Now, you can see a new listing of projects, improved user tasks and timesheets, and a full activity feed in the user profile.
ActiveCollab 8: Teams
Creating teams automatically creates a designated chat room for each team.
Plus it's easier to add team members to a project and @ mention the entire team to keep everyone in the loop.
In September, we improved the Team’s UI and enriched it with real-time updates without refreshing the Teams page.
ActiveCollab 8: Trash
We’ve enhanced the Trash by enriching the list with more details. Now you’ll get all the info on who deleted what and from which project. Also, we’ve included additional filtering options allowing you to filter the items in the Trash by the user who deleted it or the project from which it was deleted.

Uptime
In August, ActiveCollab’s uptime was >99.95%. Our Support Team is ready to answer all your questions via email and X. If you notice that the app is down or slower than usual, give us a shout.
