How To Join ActiveCollab 8 Early Access Program?

After years of development, ActiveCollab 8 is almost ready for the public. But before we make it the only version for all our current and future users, we wanted to provide some of you the opportunity to be among the first to try it.

To join our Early Access Program, get in touch with our customer care team via email at support@activecollab.com or chat, and they will review your request and guide you through the process. If you want to make their lives a little bit easier, prepare your Account ID (see the image below) to share with them.

Key info to know before requesting access to ActiveCollab 8:

This is completely free - you will keep your current subscription without any changes
All your data (projects, tasks, files, notes…) and integrations will remain the same
Everything you add using version 8 will be accessible in the current version as well
You quickly switch between the current and the new version

What’s New in ActiveCollab 8

ActiveCollab 8 brings more than 100 improvements and new features. There are too many to list them all here, but here are some highlights:

Main Menu is now customizable: hide features you don’t use and move around the others for quicker access
Favorite projects now show up just below the Projects item
We are introducing Virtual Users: read more about this feature here
Projects have been thoroughly revamped visually and in terms of functionality
Creating new tasks directly from a comment, discussion, or note
Subtasks can now have due dates

Here is what you should do to start using ActiveCollab 8.0 after our customer care team lets you know that you have been granted access:

When you log into ActiveCollab, click the rocket icon in the top right-hand corner

Choose team members who will get access to ActiveCollab 8 on the welcome popup

Go through the quick info about new and updated features, and start using ActiveCollab 8
