Comments are a fast and effective way to communicate with your team and clients. You can post them on tasks, discussions or notes, which serve a thread for the entire conversation history.
- Open a task, discussion or note in a project,
- Enter a comment. Click the A icon to bring up formatting,
- Attach files or drag and drop them on the comment (optional),
- Click Add Comment,
- All subscribers will be notified that a new comment has been posted.
When someone comments on a task, discussion or a note that you are subscribed to - you will receive an email notification. You can post a comment just by replying to the email.
If you want to leave a comment for a specific person, simply type @ in front of their name (eg. @Bob). They will get a notification email about who mentioned them, and where.
Reacting to a Comment
If you want to leave your reaction to a comment someone left, you can do just that by picking some or all of our six awesome emojis! Just hover under the down left section of the comment and you will see the emojis that you can choose from. By hovering over the picture of emojis under the comment you can also see who left which reaction to the comment.
