Comments

Create tasks, add detailed descriptions, assignees, due dates, and then leave comments to discuss their progress. Team members can ask questions, have doubts cleared up, let everyone know if they have any impediments that prevent them from completing the task, etc.

All the subscribers will get a real-time notification on all devices when a new comment is posted. When someone is @mentioned directly, they'll get the info in the same notification. To make things smoother, you can mention entire teams at once.

Notes

We're all too familiar with a desk full of post-its and a pile of scrapbooks full of pieces of random information. The nightmare begins the moment a fragment of a bullet point needs to be found within minutes. Notes in ActiveCollab allow storing and sharing information in an organized way. If someone can't attend a meeting, you can collect notes from it and keep everyone in the loop. Update and change notes as many times as you like - all the versions can be reopened and reviewed.

If you have several notes based on the same topic, you can group them into collections by drag and dropping them one on top of the other. This way, you'll never have to look through pieces of paper on a messy surface again!

Discussions
