Pricing FAQ

• What's the purpose of the trial period?

  14 days is the time you get to test your ActiveCollab workspace and see how well it fits the way you work.

• Will I be charged when my trial is up?

  No. We don't ask for your credit card up front, so you'll only be charged when you decide to purchase ActiveCollab. If you want to continue after your trial, we'll ask for your payment details.

• Do I pay monthly or annually?

  It is completely up to you, but the yearly plan gives you a big discount. You can select your preferred billing period on the Subscription page in ActiveCollab.

• Can I cancel at any time?

  Yes, absolutely.

• What happens with my data if I choose to cancel my subscription?

  You own your data and you can choose to take it with you or just delete it when you cancel your subscription.

• How much will I be charged?

  With per-seat pricing, you will be charged the same amount for every user with an Owner, Member, Member+, or Client+ role. All clients that don't have the Client+ role are free of charge.

• Can I use ActiveCollab without the additional bundle?

  Yes, ActiveCollab Project Management contains everything you need to organize your work. Additional bundle works as an upgrade to the core set of features and it expands your workspace as your business grows.

• Will I be able to import my data from another project management tool?

  If you're using Asana, Wrike, Trello, or Basecamp 2, you can transfer your projects and data by running an importer from the Add-ons menu in ActiveCollab.

• Which methods of payment do you accept?

  You can pay your subscription with any major credit and debit card.

• Is VAT calculated in the price?

  That depends if you’re buying ActiveCollab as a company or an individual. As an EU company, simply enter your VAT ID number during checkout to deduct the VAT from your order. However, if you’re buying ActiveCollab as an EU citizen, you’ll be required to pay the VAT.

• Can I use this for my whole organization, or just my team?

  ActiveCollab is designed to be a hub for your organization. Your entire company can make Real Work happen in the same workspace. You can start small with a single team, but as you grow more familiar, you can spread ActiveCollab through the rest of the organization.
  You can add as many people as you want, assign them to a team (or teams), and set their permission levels.

• Do you offer discounts?

  We offer a 50% discount for educational institutions and non-profit organizations that are making the world a better place. You can apply for the discount here.

• How secure is ActiveCollab?
